​Holding a garage sale is a fun and practical way for students to learn English while acquiring vocabulary and real-life experience. When organizing the event, students should plan how to present items for sale, using English descriptions like "This is a vintage lamp" or "This book is in great condition." They can interact with buyers, practicing phrases like "How much is this?" or "Can I offer you a discount?" During negotiations, students learn vocabulary related to pricing, quality, and bartering.

Additionally, while working together to organize, students have the chance to practice organizational and teamwork vocabulary. The garage sale also offers an opportunity to discuss topics like economics, sustainability, and cultural values, all while improving communication and listening skills.
