Gratitude

The school year is coming to an end, and before the final presentations, we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving another event that enriches Cecam’s bilingual culture. For two weeks, we explored the importance of this holiday, focusing especially on Gratitude: understanding what we are truly thankful for and learning to practice it from childhood, so it becomes part of our lives for many years.

Our celebration had two special moments: building our Thankful Tree and enjoying a picnic where we shared our food. The children wrote what they were thankful for on their Thankful Cards, and it was wonderful to see how they could express their feelings in such a genuine way. After that, we had a big sharing picnic because being thankful also means learning to share what we have.

My final message is simple: I am truly grateful to be an educator and to help shape citizens who will bring positive change wherever they go.

Forever grateful.
